2019 Cugini Sangiovese
Windsor Oaks Vineyard,
Russian River Valley, Sonoma County
It was important to find the right vineyard from which to source our first Italian varietal, and we were fortunate to find Windsor Oaks. This certified sustainable 710-acre property spans three famed AVAs in Sonoma County: Chalk Hill, Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast. The Sangiovese vines’ orientation, the combination of alluvial and volcanic soils and a unique microclimate allow the grapes to hang on vine for upwards of 10 extra days, giving our wine luscious ripe red fruit body punctuated with lively spice notes and the signature Sangiovese tannins that make it a perfect match with a classic Italian tomato sauce or simply a great slice of pizza.

2022 Elena Pinot Grigio
Cosumnes River AVA,
Sacramento County
The search for the right fruit to create an Italian-style Pinot Grigio lead us to California’s Central Valley and the Cosumnes River AVA. The low elevation of the land and the Sacramento River Delta just south of this region contribute to a cooler and more maritime climate, making it perfect for the production of white wines; it’s that almost-constant marine layer of fog on the low-lying vineyards during the growing season that tempers the heat and preserves the fruit’s signature acidity. The delightful results of this vintage shine in our 2022 Elena Pinot Grigio. True to the Italian style, Elena is dry and light-bodied, has an inviting, summery aroma of honeysuckle, and delivers a bright burst of citrusy acidity with a pleasing hint of minerality on the finish. Serve chilled (45-50F) with antipasti, lighter pasta dishes or seafood or just sip it on a warm day, and experience how its essence unfolds in the glass.

2020 Alunna Sauvignon Blanc
Morgaen Lee Vineyard,
Yountville, Napa Valley
From its place across the floor of the famed Napa Valley, Morgaen Lee vineyard thrives from a daily ritual of crisp mornings that bow to sunbathed afternoons. This pattern creates in the fruit explosive flavor and refreshing. eye popping acidity. We are proud to have collaborated with this vineyard to produce our own expression of a Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, emphasizing the crisp citrus flavors and mineral essence while ensuring there remain the characteristic layers of tropical fruit, melon and a hint of grapefruit on the nose. Try it with penne with basil pesto sauce, fresh mozzarella, and any type of shellfish.
